compassion for every creature

OUR ANIMAL SANCTUARY

Today, many animals suffer from neglect, displacement, and lack of care. Yet, with your help, we can change their story and give them the safety and compassion they deserve.

OUR WHY

ANIMALS DESERVE LOVE TOO

As we continue to build our family-owned nonprofit, we specifically want to focus on animals as well. Everyday, a countless number of animals suffer from abuse, neglect, and abandonment. Receiving treatment that they certainly do not deserve and experiencing the harsh realities of life. Yet, we aim to put a stop to this! We believe GOD’s animals should have a safe, loving roof over their head, while receiving the care they deserve. Here’s how we plan to do it:

OUR VISION

With the help of donations from supporters around the world, we plan to secure a large piece of land and begin building our animal sanctuary. This sanctuary will be a loving and protected haven where animals can live in peace, receive consistent care, and recover from hardship. With on-side veterinary support, a reliable supply. of nutritious food, and dedicated caretakers, we aim to create a safe environment where every animal is valued, nurtured, and given the chance to thrive.

OUR NEEDS

As of right now, we are currently in need of land, unused cargo containers, mobile homes, pet supplies, and office space. If you have any of these supplies or the funding to support our mission, please contact us at Contact@Luke249.org! Thank you.

FROM A LIFE OF HARDSHIP TO A LIFE OF FREEDOM

MINIATURE PINCHER

HONEY

At the end of 2022, we rescued a female Miniature Pincher named Honey. Before we adopted her, Honey was on her way to the pound due to her elderly owners no longer being able to care for her. Honey previously faced many health issues after consuming a piece of wood that tore her digestive system. Yet, GLORY TO GOD, Honey survived and is now in our care — receiving the love, attention, and freedom she needs.

STAFFORDSHIRE BULL TERRIOR

MIA

On May 10, 2021, we took in a Staffordshire Bull Terrier named Mia. Mia is a very quiet, lowly, yet loving dog! A few years ago, we learned that she was previously abused by her past owners. Mia would react negatively when a broom or swifer came near her, so we had to teach her she had nothing to fear. After a while, Mia learned to let go of her past fears and trauma. She is now enjoying her new life and living in a home that shows her an abundance of love.

DOMESTIC SHORTHAIR

MANNA

On December 13, 2025, we went to a local humane shelter and brought home a 13-week old kitten named Manna. He had just arrived at the shelter after previously being transferred from a Long Beach location. Though, today Manna lives free—enjoying his new life with an abundance of food, love, and cuddles.

DOMESTIC SHORTHAIR

MILK

On December 13, 2025, we adopted a 10-week old kitten named Milk. When we first saw Milk at our local humane shelter, he was sitting in his cage…all alone. His previous owners returned him to the shelter due to allergies. So, milk was left to himself again, with no family nor siblings. Yet, today Milk lives happily in his new home and even has brother to play with—Manna.
